The BACS Good Business Egg Awards are different to other annual awards.

An event that showcases good corporate social responsibility by New Zealand business that invest in people sustainability then names and fames them!

Guidelines for the BACS Good Business Eggs include:

 

Businesses are not able to nominate themselves.

 

The awards are judged and commented by panels of community leaders.

 

A good commitment by the business to social responsibility without it being a ‘branding exercise only.’ We have zero tolerance on bragging!

 

Reporting (with significant NZ details) on the business community investment/ involvement.

 

Evidence of sharing resources and skills; that may include hosting events, mentoring, collections of monies, business donations, skill sharing.

 

Good demonstration of CSR within the business and appropriate reporting.

 

Listening and working with community organisations to achieve shared outcomes.

 

Messaging their community involvement/ investment well.

 

Awareness by the business of the social impact in what they are doing.

 

BACS provides a review to all winners, those that came runners-up and shortlisted candidates.
