A fundraiser for HELP: Although crime rates have fallen, this is not the case for sexual violence and our services remain in high demand

It is encouraging to know that crime rates in New Zealand have fallen to the lowest they have been in 35 years. Unfortunately, this is not the case for sexual violence, so our services remain in as high demand as ever.

Through your support, we have been able to continue offering 24/7 crisis and support services, education, youth services and counselling. We have also been able to continue working toward a safer, healthier environment for New Zealand women and young people.

Malala’s incredible journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring. As a Sixteen-year-old Malala was shot in the head by a Taliban assassin bent on taking her life and silencing her voice. Malala survived and is now the youngest person to ever be awarded the Nobel peace Prize for her activism for female education. An empowering story of one girls fight to be heard.
